Jakarta Visit

On July 13, 2007, Pastor Butch Yu visited the church planting effort of Pastor Ramon Morante in Jakarta, Indonesia. Straight from the airport, he joined the welcome party for Filipino teachers who came back from a school holiday in the Philippines. The Filipino teachers are an increasing group of expatriates in Jakarta sharing their expertise in education. Recognizing their potential in bringing young and tender souls for the kingdom and other kababayans, he challenged them to keep their focus on God’s mission.



His three-day visit encouraged the family of Pastor Ramon Morante and Pastor Marites Calayo who is also teaching in one of the schools in Jakarta. Let us pray that by January 2008, WIN Jakarta will be established to win more souls for the harvest. (Reported by Pastor Ramon Morante in Jakarta)
