A Personal Reflection on the Sermon by Rodel Galicia

"You can be crazy and not be in love, but you cannot be in love and not be crazy about it." -PB. Beautifully said but these words made me ponder if I had really applied them to my love relationship with God. Did I commit fully to love Him or do I love only during times that I feel like loving Him?

I admire the psalmist’s great admiration for God’s presence in the altar. God’s Spirit provides us that sense of security, protection and refuge when we are in His house. For as He provided for the humble sparrow, what more He has for us. If we only long for God, we can enjoy His presence anywhere. We just need to acknowledge Him. And in His presence, joy and happiness will abound in us.

Continuing to love God as we journey through this life is really a test of faith. Though I may pass valleys in my life, i know my God will always be there to strengthen my heart and provide everything I will ever need. Let us love God wholeheartedly and though reward awaits us at the end, let us focus our eyes on God alone. For it is said that “Blessed is the man who trusts in You.” Truly if we trust in the Lord, we can throw our full weight on Him and rest in Him. And as we put our trust in God, joy and happiness will abound in us.

We want more of You, Lord God, simply because we love You!
